What pages should a small business website have?
By DEVIN Q. PRESTIGE — Q.M.P Web Design & Tech, Atlanta & nationwide remote
Five pages cover almost every small business website: home, services, about, contact, and booking. If a visitor can find what you do, why they should trust you, and how to reach you, the site is doing its job.
Home
The front door. It should say what you do, who you serve, and what to do next — in seconds, not paragraphs. A visitor who has to hunt for the point will leave.
Services
Every service you offer, in plain words, with prices or a clear way to ask. This is the page searchers land on most, so it should answer their question before they have to call.
About
Who is behind the business and why customers should trust them. A short, honest story beats a wall of claims — people buy from people they believe.
Contact
Phone number, email, hours, and service area, easy to find on every page. Q.M.P sites keep contact details front and center so a ready customer never has to search for them.
Booking
A simple way to request a service or appointment without a phone tag game. For many businesses this one page is worth more than the rest of the site combined.
Optional extras
Photo galleries, customer reviews, a FAQ page, and a blog for answering buyer questions all help, but they come after the core five. Q.M.P builds the core pages first in the $199 Website + Logo Package, then adds extras as the business grows.
Deposit and refund terms, stated plainly
The 30% deposit is always kept (non-refundable once booked). Within the 30-day window, if the agreed criteria are not met and Q.M.P cannot make it right, everything paid beyond the deposit is refunded. Payments accepted: Zelle, Cash App, and Apple Pay — payment details are shared once your booking is confirmed.
